Rare Herbs
Certain herbs from Asia and Africa are among the most widely used and time-honoured teas, highly valued for their special properties. Despite being enjoyed for centuries in their respective cultures, the Novel Food Regulation prohibits the sale of herbs that were not widely available on the market before 1997 in large quantities. This has led to a loss of valuable knowledge and experience from other countries and cultures. As a result, all the herbs listed here are sold only for their fragrances, intended for use as potpourri or for burning.
