Catechin Tea

A specially developed range of unique teas optimised to contain special catechins at lab-tested levels. Sencha Immune Active IgA contains an ideal ratio of EGC and EGCG catechins, particularly when prepared as a mizudashi cold infusion.

Specialised green teas suitable for everyday enjoyment, with optimised, lab-confirmed catechin levels and a harmonious, aromatic flavour. Offered here is High Catechin EGCG Sencha with 7,96% EGCG and Benifuuki Ichibancha Sencha, a very bitter tea with a high concentration of 7.9% EGCG, excellent for therapeutic use.

Ideally suited for cold brewing, this sencha made from the Yutakamidori cultivar contains a lab-tested, optimal ratio of EGC to EGCG (approx. 90%) as well as a high total EGC + EGCG content (approx. 10%). Yutakamidori Chiran Sencha Mizudashi is a gourmet alternative, scoring 98 points while still retaining high catechin levels.

A high-catechin green tea rarity based on the rare cultivar Camellia Sinensis var. pubilima, known in China as Bai Mao (白毛). Peak amounts of total catechins (C), epicatechins (EC), and epicatechin gallate (EGC), along with notably high levels of epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) compared to Japanese high-catechin teas. Mild and aromatic, with a rich vegetal-chlorophyll note and intriguing hints of dried apricot.
