White Tea

The champagne of white teas, Silver Needle teas are only obtained from the fresh young buds of the first harvest, which are then very lightly oxidised. We offer the most elegant and pure Yin Zhen Silver Needle from the famed regions of Fuding and Zheng He, both in Fujian province, as well as from the remote, high mountain locations of Guangxi. In addition, we offer particularly aromatic Yunnan Moonlight Silver Needle near the town Pu Erh in Yunnan and an exceptionally fragrant Silver Needle & Purple White using special native white tea cultivars grown in the lush foothills of Mount Kenya without chemical pesticides.

In addition to a classic Pai Mu Tan and the noble Moonlight Silver Needle, our range also includes two specially blended flavoured teas made from 100% natural ingredients: Moonlight Earl Grey and Moonlight Sakura Rose.

This pure, hand-harvested bud tea is a true white tea speciality from the Chinese province of Yunnan. Our Ya Bao comes from wild, often very old tea trees, whose leaves are otherwise also used for precious Pu Erh teas. The taste of the tea surprises with a unique blend of tangy, spicy forest notes and mild, digestible sweetness.

Pai Mu Tan, also known as White Peony, is a highly aromatic white tea made from a careful blend of Silver Needle buds and tender young leaves for a rich, full-bodied sweetness.

Shou Mei white tea is made from the older, slightly larger leaves of the late Autumn harvest. The somewhat tart flavour profile makes Shou Mei particularly suitable for maturing, which brings out its unique fragrance even more. Grown without pesticides, our Shou Mei from 2018 has a malty, floral aroma and a deep, flavourful sweetness.

White teas are ideal for ageing as over the years their mild and delicate flavour profile develops depth and a fruity sweetness. Our Aged White teas are grown without chemical pesticides at highly renowned farms each with their own unique terroirs.

Classic Chinese jasmine tea offered with both white and green tea as a base, tastefully and exclusively scented with fresh, organic, hand-picked jasmine flowers. Sourced directly from tea farms in Fuding and Jiangxi.

The fertile, volcanic earth on the secluded slopes of Mount Kenya offer a singular terroir for unique white teas with a creamy, full-bodied bouqet. Our exquisite Kenyan white teas are made with premium Silver Needle and the rare Purple cultivar.
