White Tea

Traditionally from Fujian province on the southeastern coast of China, white tea is the least processed and oxidised type of tea with a sweet, delicate, refreshing character as well as a high content of polyphenols, catechins and L-theanine. White tea is made from carefully selected buds and young leaves, which are then withered and dried under carefully monitored conditions. All our white teas are sourced directly from trusted farmers in the most renowned white tea regions and tested for impurities in a German laboratory.

Silver Needle White Tea

Silver Needle teas are regarded as the most exquisite of all white teas, as they are made exclusively from the young, fresh buds and have an especially low level of oxidation (approx. 2%). The most famous growing region for Silver Needle tea is Fujian Province. Within it, the most renowned terroirs include Fuding, the legendary Wuyi Shan, and the traditional tea village of Zhenghe, famed for its delicate, needle-like buds. Our selection also features Silver Needle teas from the mountains of Guangxi, as well as fine Moonlight White tea cultivated at high altitudes in Yunnan.

Yellow Tea

Chinese yellow tea is a very rare and delicate tea made from green tea leaves that are encased and gently fermented in a special cloth. This gives the brewed tea its eponymous colour besides a deeper, juicier flavour than its green tea cousin. We offer top-class yellow teas from an award-winning, third generation family-run tea farm located in the heart of the majestic Huo Shan Mountains, as well as a more fermented organic yellow tea grown high above the city of Puerh in Yunnan.
