Karigane Kukicha

A harmonious blend of mild Karigane and premium Sencha. Naturally lower in caffeine, Karigane is an ideal green tea for enjoying into the evening. Fresh and vibrant, with delicate sweetness and smooth umami, this style has long been treasured as the “tea farmers’ tea.”

Fine Karigane blended with premium Sencha and Gyokuro. Naturally low in caffeine, it is ideal for evening enjoyment – or, when enhanced with matcha, as a revitalising daily companion. The pinnacle of this genre is Tencha Usuore Karigane: a rare expression typically reserved for well-connected connoisseurs of Japanese green tea with direct access to the producers. It is crafted exclusively from the leaf veins of Tencha, the very material used to create the finest ceremonial matcha.

Flavourful Karigane blends crafted exclusively with natural ingredients. The fruit-forward, vibrant yuzu blend is delicious enjoyed both hot and as a cold brew, revealing bright citrus notes of grapefruit and orange. The sakura blend, made with organically grown sakura leaves from Japan, delights with its cherry-fruited bouquet and an exquisitely soft, silky mouthfeel.

Deeply roasted stem teas defined by rich toasted aromas and a gentle, rounded sweetness. Bo Hojicha, crafted from 100% finely roasted tea stems, yields an infusion of remarkable aromatic depth. Sannenbancha, a unique type of Kukicha aged for three full years, reveals refined roasted notes alongside a softly mineral, gently alkaline character and is rich in natural polysaccharides.
