Porcelain Teapots

Versatile porcelain teapots for brewing all kinds of Chinese tea, particularly aged and dark teas including oolong, pu-erh and black teas. The glazed ceramic is easy to clean and does not absorb any flavours or aromas, making these teapots perfect for everyday use as well as tasting and comparing teas.

A selection of Gaiwan handcrafted in Dehua and Jingdezhen: the birthplace of porcelain, in a variety of classic Chinese ceramic styles, from serene celadon to rustic metal glaze and trusty blue-and-white. Gaiwan are suitable for brewing long leaf Chinese and Taiwanese teas, whether for everyday enjoyment or Gongfu ceremonies.

Custom-designed Hasami-yaki from Nagasaki prefecture, together with classic Asahi-yaki and hand-painted Kiyomizu-yaki from Kyoto. These side-handled Kyusu and handle-less Hohin teapots are equipped with built-in strainers at the spout and may be used to brew all kinds of Japanese tea.
