In contrast to other types of tea, black tea undergoes a complete oxidation process, transforming the colour as well as the flavour and polyphenol content of the tea. Black tea typically has dark tea leaves and an orange-reddish infusion, ranging in flavour from delicate floral to elegant chocolaty-malty.
