High Mountain Oolong

With ideal growing conditions at altitudes of up to 2000m, a naturally sweet and delicately floral bouquet, and unrivalled craftsmanship with just the right touch of roasting, Taiwan’s High Mountain Oolongs (高山烏龍) rank among the most sought-after teas in the world. We source our finest Taiwan Oolongs from partner farms in prestigious regions such as Dong Ding, La La Shan and Ali Shan – cultivated naturally, without the use of chemical pesticides.

High Mountain Dongding Oolong

Dong Ding Oolong is one of Taiwan’s classic premium teas, renowned for its depth and the way its flavour unfolds slowly over many infusions. It is characterised by an intense minerality and clarity of flavour. While many Oolongs on the market falsely bear the name “Dong Ding,” our teas come exclusively from the authentic terroir in Lugu County. They are available as the lightly roasted Qing Xiang (“Pure Flavour”) and the more intensely roasted Nong Xiang (“Rich Flavour”).

High Mountain Lala Shan Oolong

Our Lala Shan Oolongs come from the remote, steep mountain slopes of Lala Mountain at an altitude of 1400m. Aromatically, they are characterised by incomparably delicate notes of Taiwanese mountain flowers such as osmanthus. The tea farm is certified organic in Taiwan and is surrounded by mighty mountain forests with trees up to 3000 years old.

High Mountain Lishan Oolong

Taiwan's Lishan ("Pear Mountain"), with its alpine climate and location on former pear plantations, is one of the best terroirs in Taiwan. The high altitude climate with cool, humid air contributes to a special softness of the leaves. The tea exudes an incomparably fine fragrance of the subtropical mountain forests with a caramel sweetness.
