A heavenly, chocolatey organic matcha latte made with our premium Japanese Okinami matcha and the queen of cocoa – Peruvian, fair-trade fine cocoa of the rare Criollo variety. This variety accounts for less than 0.1% of the global cocoa harvest and is considered the absolute pinnacle of cocoa. Its captivating depth of flavour, with its subtly fruity notes and exotic sweetness, allows you to experience the authentic aromatic depth of the cocoa bean. The cocoa blends seamlessly with the grassy, fresh character of the matcha, resulting in a wonderfully creamy-sweet flavour profile. This matcha latte is perfectly suited to any type of milk or plant-based milk – hot or cold.

The matcha latte is a modern take on the refined powdered green tea, matcha, which is traditionally associated with the Japanese tea ceremony. In recent years, matcha lattes have grown hugely popular and are now a staple on the menu in high-end cafés and bars – including in Japan itself, where the matcha latte (抹茶ラテ) has long been a classic. While many ready-made matcha latte mixes contain high levels of sugar, lower-quality matcha, and questionable additives, our Yoshi en Organic Matcha Lattes are made using 100% Japanese premium organic matcha. They are blended only with pure organic agave powder for sweetness, along with natural fruit powders or spices sourced from some of the world’s finest growing regions.

Preparation

Preparation

Add 2 teaspoons (6g) of powder to a cup. Pour in 2 tablespoons of hot water and whisk with a matcha whisk or small whisk until smooth and lump-free. Top up with 250 ml of hot or cold milk (frothed if you like) or a plant-based alternative, then stir and enjoy.

Recommended Matcha Bowl

For preparing matcha lattes, we recommend our Katakuchi matcha bowls with a pouring spout. For serving and a stylish presentation, our double-walled glass cup made of borosilicate glass is the perfect choice.

Recommended Accessories

For the optimal texture, flavour and creaminess, we recommend using a special matcha sieve, along with a matcha whisk, or alternatively a small whisk or milk frother, to prepare the paste.

Packaging and Storage

Our matcha latte mix is securely packaged in a high-quality, BPA-free pouch with multiple protective layers to preserve its flavour. Before opening, it can be stored in its original packaging either in the fridge or at room temperature.

Once opened, we recommend keeping the pouch tightly sealed and storing it at room temperature to protect it from moisture, odours, light and oxidation. During warmer months, it can also be stored in the fridge after opening, but should only be taken out briefly to avoid excess exposure to moisture and external odours. For optimal storage, we suggest pressing out as much air as possible before resealing after each use.
