Black Tea from China
The most famous black teas from China, including Dian Hong, Keemun, Lapsang Souchong and Yingde Hongcha.
Dian Hong
Dian Hong black tea from Yunnan is widely renowned for its rich, full-bodied, slightly malty flavour. Our selection of premium organic Dian Hong is sourced directly from a leading tea farm located at an altitude of 1500m in Pu Erh, Yunnan.
Keemun
Keemun 祁門紅茶 is one of China’s most popular teas, known for its distinctive flavour profile featuring a tart sweetness, fruity plum notes, and a subtle hint of pine. We offer a Master Keemun crafted in the Gong Fu style, the highest level of traditional artisanal tea-making, sourced directly from its original terroir in Anhui. We also have an excellent everyday organic Keemun, sourced directly from a small farm in the Huangshan mountains.
Lapsang Souchong
An unsmoked version of the smoky black tea classic, this wild-harvested and traditionally processed Lapsang Souchong sparkles with fruity notes of plum and a whisper of smoke.
Yingde Hongcha
From Yingde Town in Guangdon Province, Yingde Hongcha is one of China's most prestigious black teas, famed for its elegant leaf shape and vibrant ruby red brew, with notes of cocoa and honey. Our tea is made from the particularly popular Yingdehong No.9 cultivar.
