So-called “red” Oolong refers to a distinctive style that undergoes a more intensive oxidation, resulting in particularly sweet notes reminiscent of a high-quality black tea. Our Taiwan Red Oolong, crafted from the aromatic Ying Xiang cultivar, combines the delicate roasted notes typical of Taiwanese Oolongs with a rich honeyed sweetness and hints of apricot.
