Turmeric is one of the most important plants in the Indian healing tradition of Ayurveda, valued worldwide for its wide range of beneficial properties. Our organic turmeric, sourced from the finest growing region in Gujarat, India, is refined with a variety of powerful alkaline herbs such as green oats and sunflower petals. The result is a wonderfully balanced, soothing organic alkaline tea.

For our speciality alkaline teas, our herbalists and tea sommeliers have harmoniously combined time-tested alkaline herbs with premium green tea and Pu Erh tea from Japan and China. Bancha is a late-harvest Japanese green tea, gently stimulating yet naturally alkalising. Sannenbancha, harvested with both leaves and stems and then lightly roasted, is a popular macrobiotic tea and revered in Japan’s health circles for its unique blood-balancing properties. Low in caffeine, it is very mildly stimulating and highly alkalising. The dark, full-bodied fermented Shou Pu Erh tea is particularly nourishing and valued for its abundance of beneficial microorganisms, which remain intact during brewing and are absorbed into the body through the tea.
