Matcha-iri

Premium green teas dusted with ceremonial grade matcha from the first harvest. Exceptionally rich in catechins and amino acids, our fully shaded Ikkyu matcha has pronounced umami with a mild sweetness. This special profile makes each of our Matcha-iri blends unique and results in beautifully vibrant, rich green tones in the cup.

Sencha teas from one of the finest terroirs in Japan, blended with our Ikkyu matcha. These refreshing teas have full, sweet umami and are rich in amino acids and catechins.

Matcha-iri teas with especially high umami and L-theanine content. Our karigane tea stems are particularly rich in mild amino acids and, refined with matcha, have a pleasantly uplifting effect, with sweet umami and minimal caffeine. For our Gyokuro Matcha-iri we use a fully shaded gyokuro from our organic partner farmer Shuichiro Sakamoto (坂本修一郎) in ultra-organic quality. Combined with matcha, it offers a pronounced, sweet umami flavour, with an abundance of amino acids and a particularly revitalising, stimulating effect.

A tea refined with premium roasted rice, making it especially mild and wonderfully nourishing. In Japan, genmaicha is particularly popular after lunch to aid digestion. The addition of matcha gives it an extra refreshing and invigorating note.
